I was challenged by Julita Wozny to post black & white photos for the up-coming five days. I posted one photo, and then forgot all about it D-: Does it mean I fail at the challenge? … <.< … >.>…. Since this is my blog – I don’t think so.
Russian railroads are quite famous, especially the one that goes across Sibir. I didn’t travel quite that far; it takes 23 hours to travel St. Petersburg-Lipetsk, not really the longest journey at all. Although it does feel like it when all the lights go off at 22.30, making reading impossible. Apart from that, train is my favourite way of travelling. It’s like a large moving sleeping hall. The ridiculously overpriced candy wagon drives by sometimes, and there are some few opportunities to go off the train for ice cream and beer at longer stops, but otherwise it’s a quiet and monotonous ride. With no internet. Precious time to read, think and write while the landscape flows by outside the window.

Sucks. It might not be the case for the whole France, but the Internet at my aunts keeps going on and off, and even when it’s on, most pages load so slowly that I forget what I had clicked, and then, after waiting for ever, I get the most annoying message: connection lost (happened a million times during this half hour!). My Reader is also a lost case, and so is my Facebook. Which is really no problem, until I decide to update myself on what’s going on in my world to find out it’ not possible. So annoying. I will not try more today (but then I probably will, damn it!). So buh-bye.
