I realize that I forgot to share any pictures of Lille, a pretty French city where I got to spend a part of my Christmas holidays. Even though I didn’t have much time there, I got to see a lot of the city because I climbed up this monster:

Heights make me uncomfortable, especially when I’m facing them alone. I had hoped to share a cabin with the couple in front of me in line, but the chief of boarding had other plans. He probably thought their ride would be more romantic for them without me.

xo xo, the survivor :-p
That city looks beautiful. I wish there was somewhere like that on this side of the pond.
I really like the Christmas tree through the gate. The color and textures of the cabin come through fantastically. 🙂
Also, I now desire cake.
Wow, great shots, but I’m not sure I could have retained my composure well enough to actually TAKE any good pictures. These are nice! 😀
Oh My. I would never ride on a ferriswheel ever again.
Hav ebeen to Lille as well and the city is lovely.
Strange architectural features, a mixture of Gallic and Germanic with a whiff of Northern European Renaissance. Fascinating.
Ooh, thanks for sharing your thoughts! That sounds very smart and I take your word for it 😀 I wish I knew more about architecture myself!
These are some really awesome photos. 🙂
Indeed, you send us all to wish for cakes 😉
Just added Lille to my list of cities I must visit!
Wow, amazing shoots!
Nice picture! It`s good to see Lille once from above instead of on the streets 🙂
Very beautiful! Great pictures, thanks for sharing! Happy New Year! 🙂
