Happy to be back in Amsterdam, as always. I had some problems getting back and planned to write something hateful about Eurolines, but they fixed their mistake just fine, so there isn’t really much to complain about anymore. Other than that I had to spend more than two hours in the dark and cold, without any information on the whereabouts of my bus. I didn’t really have many Christmas expectations this year and I didn’t count on getting anything […]
Sucks. It might not be the case for the whole France, but the Internet at my aunts keeps going on and off, and even when it’s on, most pages load so slowly that I forget what I had clicked, and then, after waiting for ever, I get the most annoying message: connection lost (happened a million times during this half hour!). My Reader is also a lost case, and so is my Facebook. Which is really no problem, until I […]
First of all, a big thanks to all on WordPress for being super awesome! Well, “all” on WP didn’t actually visit my blog the last two days, but those who did are officially in my Sweetest book. No wonder I got better really fast this time, lots of water and good wishes are great for recovery! My nose might look like I’ve been polishing it with sandpaper, but I’m ready for Christmas holidays! I’ve even packed all the presents and […]

Mom and stepfather left yesterday and I started missing them instantly. It’s been such a nice weekend! I have many photos to go through now, since I felt a little ill when I got home in the evening – I just dived into bed. …Only to wake up with a flu. Only five days before Christmas break. With so much to do! I’d hyperventilate if my throat weren’t that sore 😦 Instead, I’ve search the Internet for advices on how […]
I didn’t check the news yesterday and I’m definitely doing my best to avoid them today. Amsterdam looks beautiful! The sun is shining. My mom is visiting me this weekend, with my stepfather and I should be running out the door now to meet them, since they are probably finishing their first Dutch breakfast around this time. So ‘til later! *charging my camera*
We were going to buy a tiny Christmas tree, my BFF whom I share a kitchen with, and me, were totally going to decorate for the holidays – we just love decorating. Pretty surroundings make you happy, I’m sure there are studies about that. Our Christmas tree did never arrive though! Misunderstandings… Good thing we haven’t found the time to get rid of the balloons in our ceiling yet!
