There are times when I am extremely happy with my job.

I’m quite pleased with being a journalist on most days, but some assignments make me think “Hehee, how did I get this lucky?”

Last week has been full of those wonerful moments. Because…..

I got to cover FINNMARKSLØPET!

What is Finnmarksløpet?

Basically, it’s the longest sled dog race in Europe.

It starts like this

I shot all these photos working for NRK. You can find our coverage of the event on the internet and on TV.

Oh yeah, and check out my Flickr gallery if you love cute dogs😉

Ghosts of Christmas Past

You know what happens when your backup hard drive crashes? Personally, I lose the motivation to take more pictures. What’s the point of preserving a moment or a memory for ever, if you won’t see it ever again?

And those crashes, they happen to me a lot. Do they happen to you too?

So I haven’t taken pictures for months (except for❤ work <3). Because what’s the point? Also, it’s dark outside >_> #polarnights

Then, I decided to look through my old backup disk earlier today.

Merry Christmas!

Good and terrible news

Let’s begin with the bad: Something happened to my external memory disk #orwhatyoucallit and all the photos i have taken since easter, seem to be gOnE…

Good news: I’m returning to blogging, because I want to keep my memories somewhere safe. See this WordPress, I’m putting a lot of trust inn you! You better be around in 50 years.

An update is in order: I no longer live in Oslo. My new home lies 70 degrees north. It’s a wonderful and weird city, Alta.
